Mesa Contemporary Arts' 32nd - Jean M. Judd
SAQA Active Member Jean M. Judd of Cushing, WI has been juried into the Mesa Contemporary Arts’ 32nd Annual Contemporary Crafts exhibition in Mesa, Arizona at the Mesa Arts Center: January 21 – March 6, 2011. Featuring Contaminated Water #1. The juror for this year's exhibition is Perry Price, Assistant Curator of Exhibitions and Collections at the Fuller Crafty Museum, Brockton, Massachusetts. Mr. Price selected 47 artworks by 37 artists out of a submission pool of 287 artworks. The Unspoken Truth about Color
The Unspoken Truth About Color: A Dialogue in Art Quilts About Racism will be at The ARC Gallery and Educational Foundation April 27 – May 22, 2011.
Opening reception will be on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m in conjunction with the YWCA’s National Day of Commitment to Eliminate Racism.
The exhibit includes 27 diverse artists from around the county that contributed 31 pieces to the show.
