Thanks to Volunteers at IQF Chicago



Thanks to everyone who volunteered at International Quilt Fest 2016 Chicago, (Rosemont,IL) last weekend. We couldn't do it without you. It was great to see so many smiling faces! A big thank you to Denise Havlan and Sara Hochhauser for coordinating the SAQA table.

SAQA Table IQF Chicago 2016

    I was lucky, as a co-curator to give exhibition talks for the SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) regional exhibition Deeply Rooted. This engaging touring exhibit features the work of SAQA members from Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska. The exhibit continues at the Museum of Nebraska Art April 19-August 7,2017.

Saw ILWI dinner at IQF

Visit our multi regional exhibit Deeply Rooted at International Quilt Festival in Rosémont . The show opens Thursday, April 7,2016. 10-6. IQF staff and volunteers were busy installing the work on Wednesday and commented how much they enjoyed seeing the pieces.  Stop by the SAQA table too.
