We had a great day last Friday. We had about 23 people present for a combined SAQA/SDA meeting. We toured my studio and the old building that it is in, ate great food and then most people stayed for the Acrylics workshop offered in the afternoon by Sandy Bacon, the rep from Golden Paints. There was lots to learn in a short time frame but Sandy handed out a very informative packet of information. In addition the rep from Princeton Brushes was there and she gave away samples to everyone of their new silicone brushes which look very interesting. Pat Kroth will be sending out info very soon about a new SAQA exhibit proposal. It looks like we have potentially 4-6 venues for a show that will have a deadline of September 2013. Note 2013. A whole year away so we have lots of time to make beautiful entries.
