Jean M. Judd @ Wichita Center for the Arts

The Wichita Center for the Arts has announced textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin as one of the artists selected for inclusion in the National Fiber Directions Exhibition 2013. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes: Choir of Angel Tapestry and Flaming Grapes.

Exhibit juror Pauline Verbeek-Cowart, Chair of the Fiber program at Kansas City Art Institute, has selected a diverse range of artworks from the artists’ submissions of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional fiber artworks. The exhibit opens on April 5, 2013 and is open through May 19, 2013. The artist reception and awards presentation is on April 5, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm at the Wichita Center for the Arts.
