The places are: Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Arvada, CO; Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo, CO; and Ft. Collins Museum of art in Ft. Collins, CO. The quilt to be exhibited is called Chonqing Home (Evening) and is part of a series inspired by a NYT photo of an apartment building in Chonqing.

Ramona Dallum Lindsey and Stop the Violence.

Dear Friends,
I invite you to celebrate with us for the publication of our recent article in the American Quilter Magazine. Former magazine editor, Marjorie L. Russell, wrote a very flattering 3 page article titled, "Children Speak Through Quilting: Peace Not Violence", for the May 2011 issue. The article features full color photos of both Stop the Violence quilts, 2 students, and myself. The magazine is currently on news stands at select major chain booksellers. You can also purchase copies on-line by visiting this link http://www.americanquilter.com/ I hope you will go out and find a copy for your magazine collection. Please also feel free to visit visionsofus.blogspot.com to learn more about future fabric art projects for students.

Sincerely,

Ramona Dallum Lindsey
