Jean M. Judd at Midlan Arts Association

 Greeting All,
Textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin has been juried into the Midland Arts Association 2013 Spring Juried Art exhibition to be held at the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas. Her artwork, Contaminated Water #4: Through the Fence and Diamond #3: Block on a Rock, are two of the artworks selected for the exhibit. The exhibition will feature 75 pieces selected from a submission pool of 243 artworks.
The juror for the exhibition is Michael R. Grauer, Curator of Art at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, Texas.  Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, fabric, drawing, print making, photography, pastel, and 3 dimensional artwork were submitted for consideration.
The exhibition opens on March 28, 2013. An opening reception and awards presentation is on March 28, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm.  Over $4,000 in monetary awards will be given to exhibiting artists. The exhibition closes on April 28, 2013.

Celebrates Women’s History Month

River Forest, Illinois, February 7, 2013 – Concordia University Chicago invites the public to celebrate Women’s History Month through an eclectic art exhibit featuring the Fiber Artists Coalition, from February 24 through March 23, at Concordia University Chicago. An artists’ reception will be held on, Sunday, March 17, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Artists works included in this exhibit are: Pat Bishop, Kathie Briggs, Shelley Brucar, Jennifer Conrad,Cheryl Ferrin, Clairan Ferrono, Linda Henke, Kasia, Peg Keeney, Casey Puetz, Laura Wasilowski, Maggie Weiss, and Trish Williams.


The Ferguson Art Gallery is located in Kretzmann Hall at Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest.
